my theme today is 'motherhood doesn't stop just because their over 18' rats... nor does *fatherhood*  got a call from my 17yr old to rescue them downtown. Her and her bf had taken a bus to Walmart to get diapers for the baby, but the bus from the transfer point stopped running south (towards Walmart) AND a thunderstorm was moving in. However... it was a *nice* type of rescue... got to visit for a bit, and they appreciated me getting them to Walmart before they closed.

Welcome to life! I gave up worrying about bad days a long time ago.Sometimes it gets so absurd that I end up shaking my head & laughing about it.It's best to figure that things could always be worse & count your blessings.

I had one of those days with my spoiled, ungrateful, disrespectful 17 yo which actually made me feel that the sooner she goes away to school the better for sanity of the household, my health and preventing incarceration - before I put her over my knee and give her the thorough spanking she so richly deserves with her bratty, 10 yo attitude.
 No matter what we've gone through, I've never felt this way about ANY of my other kids, bio, foster or otherwise. This one takes the cake .. and throws it back in my face. Oh, and it's fricken hot. |

I had one of those days, well what happened was as I pulled into the parking lot some guy was in the middle of the parking lot so I had to pull clear to the right side so he can pass me, than he looked at me and flipped me off, like I was hogging the parking lot, so I just smiled at him, didn't let it bother me, I say kill them with kindess.
 To bad he was cute too, jerkwad.
