main thing with scammers is not to give out any info about yourself. I am still chatting with a scammer that was shown on Dateline just because he stopped talking to the women they showed on the show and I am trying to help them get his butt. They do not spell right or talk right english at all. and they say they love you usually in first email or IM if you think they are a scammer report them so they can investagate them.

I had a scammer girl that said she was from africa but was originally from Florida. She said her father in Florida had died and she could not get his inheritance because they would not send it over seas. They needed me to pick it up for her and send it to her so she could fly over here and live with me!
OMG..they will try anything to get you to cash money and send it to them! I would have to transfer it into my account. The account then would be accessed by the thieves and wipe me out!!!

You can report it to police or FBI or email on dateline and they may be checking them out. And if you get some checks or money orders or cashier checks or travel checks take them to Post office with the enevelope they came in and they can tell you if they are real and they will take them if they are not and deal with it and you will not be in trouble but it is only way to stop these people. The Post Office knows me well I have turned over well over $300,000 in fake stuff. but they are glad and it all goes to headquarters in Florida of federal regulations and this is a felony because it is done by mail.

I don't want to accuse anybody of anything but the what if the $300,000 was legitimate ! the guy at the post office could have cashed it in himself. I would rather have a record in a law enforcement agency to ensure that that it was truly fraud. If it does go straight to the Florida federal people did you get documents proving this??

Yes each time I turned over fake money orders or what ever I had to sign documents and they signed them also and they gave me copies and they kept 2 copies ... 1for them and 1 to send with stuff. there were 4 signatures on the papers. and I talked to 4 different offices about the fake money orders or checks. The post Office has papers that go with it and they will show you were it is fake.
