While in another thread I started to wonder, how many of you out there have made "real" friends from chatting online?, people you may or maynot have met, yet there is a real bond.

I have definitely made real friends that I've met online. Some I have met in person, some I've yet to meet.

The only person I've ever felt truly understood me, I met online. We met about 8yrs ago but have never seen each other in person. I doubt we ever will since we only talk about once a year now. It was a great friendship and she's still one of my favorite people to talk to.

I too have made real friends through the internet; my oldest friendship is going on 13years. I've visited them a few times, they spent 10 days with me this past December and we had a fantastic time! It’s my turn to visit them again so I'm trying to figure out when, They live in another country.

I have met 6 people here on mingle in person.
5 of them I still consider friends.

meet in person. Of the 10 or so I have met, only 2 turned out to be peeps I would never have anything to do with. Live and learn. |
