Just because I'm over 50 does not mean i have to stop living. I still
want romance in my life. i guess it depends on where you live as to the quality of activites there are for your age.along with the people
you meet .Meeting people in the bar seen is no longer for me,and going to bingo halls is'nt it either.then theres also the issues of
race,so whats the deal?

Might be hard to find a lot of men in bingo halls. It's easier in a martial arts class or at a hockey game.

When you are over 50 and you go to a doctor for some problem, he says "Oh well, that happens."

Young doctors today don't think anyone should have the right to live over the age of 65.

The government would love that, since that's when they have to start paying out retirement and SS.

I'm 62 and loving it!...My daughter is raised, established, and happy, my grandson will be starting college next year, I am retired (finally!!!!), life is good...I feel like it's my turn now...Time to explore my possibilities...Time to find love, travel, enjoy my freedom with another person who is in a similar place in his life....
As for meeting someone, bars are not the only venue...I have met men in the check out line at Walmart, in the park while walking my dog, and in restaurants and coffee shops!...A smile and a friendly attitude is sometime all it takes to strike up a conversation...

Didn't you learn the "new math?" When you hit about 35, you just start adding your digits until it's a single digit. So at 35, you are 3+5=8. Be a child again. Awaken the spirit of play. Laugh! Think about what you want to be when you grow up ... but so long as you're only 1-9 or 10, you don't have to grow up if you don't want to. :) LOL

I loved turning 50 - had a big party with 42 of my friends, a DJ, some live music, great food and dancing. I thought about it at 60 ... and decided I'd rather find other occasions to have parties. Ciao ...

I value the first 55 years of my life as a stage of practice! Plus, Two years in solitude to deal with circumstances and strengthen a solid friendship with myself ( highest understanding : its only me who has control or tools - with G-d's help) . 57 a time to live with stamina not known or experienced before!
And daily discernment on choices as well as decisions to make: short and long term.
