I have been on mingle since 2007 and have never had to block anyone. I joined a different site 3 weeks ago and have already had to block 4 people. Looks like I'll be deleteing that profile and just sticking with mingle! The people here are soooo much nicer!   Yeah, I've run into this sort of thing on a lot of other sites. They just don't have the community atmosphere we have here. And I think a big part of it goes way back to when the site owners and admins decided to make it a priority to keep the site friendly and clean. And they're still at it today! Hear, hear. I am that proverbial azzole on other sites who is the psycho from hell. Here I got reprimanded I think twice, and it was done in such a sweet way by the mods that I felt moved. I feel very comfortable here, and I think the mods and the policy to keep the site free of bad drama are the keys to the success of this site. The forums are also good here because the participating community is smaller. On DHU the pages rool off the screen right before your eyes. And then there are the cliques... cliques everywhere you go, even on paid sites that are modded. Me luv this site. |

I have been on Mingles for a while myself and had to block about 6 guys but that was over the years. So really not that bad actually. That isnt bad, I've had to report a few scammers but that'll happen anywhere online.
