So what's going on with Mila and the Marine?

According to multiple reports, Mila Kunis' hectic work schedule may stop her from accompanying Sgt. Scott Moore to the Marine Corps Ball in North Carolina on November 18.

Kunis, who was promoting her film "Friends With Benefits," famously said "yes," and her co-star Justin Timberlake backed her up, telling Sgt. Moore to our camera, "I'm going to make this happen for you, man. This needs to go down."

Kunis was unaware of Moore's video invitation when we told her about it, and said "yes" without the opportunity to check her shooting schedule. And again, in her defense, she didn't even know the date of the Corps Ball.

But a "yes" is a "yes," especially when the "yes" is to a marine stationed overseas in Afghanistan, right?

Sgt. Moore is certainly looking forward to it, telling FOX411.com Tuesday in a statement that "It's going to be a great experience to meet her, and it's going to make the ball more special for everyone.”

According to one report, Kunis will indeed be in production in late November, so she's trying to meet up with Sgt. Moore for a private get-together at an undisclosed location at an undisclosed time.

But E! Online is reporting that while Kunis does have schedule conflicts, she and her posse are doing all they can to organize her production schedule so that she and Sgt. Moore can attend the highly anticipated ball together.

And if Kunis fulfills her promise, Justin Timberlake may have to as well, as the whole "Asking a celebrity to the Marine Corps Ball on a video" phenomenon has snowballed, and Timberlake now has his own request from a female Marine to answer.

C'mon Kunis, call us Cupid, but we know you'll make it happen. Otherwise, we may need to take Timberlake up on his word and exert a little extra A-list peer pressure!

If she bails I will NEVER watch another movie or TV show she is in ever again. I think she is a terrific actress and love her movies but that would just me cold and wrong. Actors and Actresses chance their schedules all the time. She can take a couple days off shooting to make this happen. Hell, they can shoot the scenes shes not in during that time.

Timberlake is a weasel as well but I will have respect for him if he accepts as well.

I think it was unfair that she was ramrodded into saying yes. That should have been done with a lot more info ahead of time.

If she's doing a movie, she's not in charge of the shooting schedule. I think it would be terrible for her to miss the date, but I don't think it would be entirely her fault.

All though I feel this is just a publicity stunt by Kunis and the Marine who is a decent guy will just get hurt in the end. I hope it does go into a relationship for them though.

Sounds like a pair of Marines have quite a double date in store.

Justin Timberlake, after encouraging his "Friends With Benefits" co-star Mila Kunis to accept an admiring Marine's video invite to the upcoming Marine Corps Ball, has accepted a video invitation to the ball from his own admirer in the Corps.

"I don't feel backed into a corner at all," Timberlake joked when asked by a reporter whether he would go. "I'll tell you what, I accept. But not because she shouted out one of my songs, which I do love ... and not because she had all those beefcake military guys behind her to try to intimidate me, although that probably would have worked by itself.

"I don't get asked out, ever, so I was very flattered by that," he said, calling it an "honor."

Timberlake had played a pivotal role in convincing Kunis to accept Sgt. Scott Moore's YouTube invitation to the Marine Corps Ball. Then enter Cpl. Kelsey De Santis.

"So, Justin, you want to call out my girl Mila. Well, I'm going to call you out and ask you to come to the Marine Corp Ball with me on Nov. 12 in Washington, D.C.," De Santis said in her own video invite.

De Santis is currently the only woman serving at the Martial Arts Center for Excellence at Marine Corps Base Quantico.
