I think being a good person is better than the nice guy theory. Treating people like people, giving out compassion. Stand by your honor, and your beliefs and protecting others beliefs is a good person.

Point is, when discussing a topic where people are judged according to other's perceptions, an online forum generally only leaves a person to toot their own horn. Therefore, it is impossible to get one's point across when no one wants to hear it.

I think I'm still going to avoid the "Nice Guy" threads from here on. I don't need the additional frustration in my life. I tried, said my piece, but there is a point of diminishing returns. I just thought maybe my past 2000 or so posts would have granted my words more weight. *shrug* |

I'm thinking the dilemma that's been plaguing me lately is simply that there is something I need to do to complete a cycle. Once I do that, then I will know where to go from there.
Fortunately, I may have just received the opportunity to remedy this situation. |
