I'm sure we all remember those time classics from to Doo-*** era .
Lets stroll on back to the time when both the artists and the songs they sang -were innocent.
ONE SUMMER NIGHT,THE GREAT PRETENDER,GET A JOB,WHY DO FOOLS FALL IN LOVE,CHANTILLY LACE,AT THE HOP,TELL LAURA I LOVE HER,MY BOY LOLLIPOP,
and EARTH ANGEL....these are only a few of the Classics-I'm sure we all have a few that we will cherish forever..I know I do!

Yep. I love those tunes. I think this thread would do better in the music section since it will get limited exposure in the over 50's crowd.

hahaha Was that Doo-Whop (without the 'h')
they censored? Too funny.

There are so many..Runaround Sue, Oh Donna,
but right now the lyrics of Chantilly Lace
keep going through my head..

WOAH !! You sure do know some great tunes! Lets see...heres one for you...Gimmie Gravy by Millie Small -the same gal that did the original Mashed Potatoes.
Lets slow things down a bit and dance to some belly-rubbin' music-Tears On My Pillow.

Cryin In the Chapel
A Summer Place
Handy Man
Sea of Love
Smoke Gets In Your Eyes

The Beach Boys!

Interesting how my kids generation like some of the 60's music.
