Topic: Too much of our tax dollar money goes to Israel.

I didn't read your lengthy post.

Its a load of crap anyway.

But I would be happy if they simply cut aid to Israel down to what they give (percentage wise) to everyone else per their population.

As it stands, they play favorites and give Israel way too much.

That's fine if you don't want to learn the truth about it.
Can't be helped.

3.6% of the annual International Affairs budget is hardly too much
for an ally like that.

drinker

Hilary Clinton does not speak the truth.
To give one single cent to the likes of Israel is to contribute to terrorism and tyranny in my opinion.

Well that makes no sense considering that Israel does not target
civilians and tries to avoid innocent casualties whenever possible
whereas the true terrorists targeting Israel like Hezbollah, Al-Aqsa,
Hamas, Fatah, Al-Qaida supported by Iran etc. actually try to kill
as many civilians as possible in their terrorist attacks.

I say - eliminate the funding of true terrorists and support Israel!

(Hey wait a minute - That is actually U.S. policy!)

Woohoo - chalk one up for the good guys in white hats!

Israel does target civilians. All the time. They just don't brag about it. They cover it up and do it in the dark of night, then they blame it on their enemy. They engage in black ops.. all the time. They help over throw governments with these same tactics.

They ran over and killed a woman with a bulldozer.
They bull doze peoples homes.

These are the facts. I know you don't want to face it.

Here is the most recent list of the top recipients of U.S. Foreign aid according to the Congressional Research Service:

1) Iraq - $18.44 billion
2) Israel - $2.62 billion
3) Egypt - $1.87 billion
4) Afghanistan - $1.77 billion
5) Colombia - $570 million
6) Jordan - $560 million
7) Pakistan - $390 million
8) Liberia - $210 million
9) Peru - $170 million
10) Ethiopia - $160 million
11) Bolivia - $150 million
12) Turkey - $150 million
13) Uganda - $140 million
14) Sudan - $140 million
15) Indonesia - $130 million

If the real reason for this thread is complaining about the USA giving money to foreign countries, why is no one complaining about Iraq, which has gotten SEVEN times the amount of money that Israel has? And what about the other countries, whose total aid equals more than $6.4 billion?

And these are just the top 15 on the list; they're not all the countries we've supported.

You're wasting your time, S1owhand. This isn't about foreign aid at all; it's about Israel.

One-third of ALL US AID
goes to Israel and Egypt.

These 2 countries receive
one-third of the total
aid, the majority of which
pays for armaments.
Yet, neither is a "developing" country.

complaining about Iraq? Are you serious?

WE TOTALLY DESTROYED THAT COUNTRY.

As for Iraq, hey, we destroyed it. It still can't get enough aid to fix it.

Spending billions on an American Embassy Consulate probably doesn't count as aid to the people and the homes and businesses we destroyed.
http://iraq.usembassy.gov/

Direct Aid Iraq, throughout its tenure as a humanitarian NGO, held up a mirror to U.S. people, calling us to see our collective responsibility for devastating Iraq. Through narration, poetry, and film, through travel, conferences, and appeal — always undertaken humbly, yet passionately — Direct Aid Iraq sought restitution to Iraqis for the unbearable suffering that U.S. war and occupation has caused. The group succeeded in building people-to-people ties between Iraq and the U.S. Guided by these relationships, they directed assistance to various Iraqi individuals whose needs might, otherwise, have gone unmet. Lives were saved. Hopes were kindled. I feel indebted to each of the people who, through Direct Aid Iraq, beckoned us to look in the mirror and see our warlike culture while reaching for a better world, a world at peace.

OK ...

laugh

The Israelis did not use white phosphorous as a weapon but as for
illumination in areas where Hamas was operating using their own
citizens as human shields.

The Israelis took great caution using these shells and there were
no reliable reports of people being targeted with them.

On the other hand, Palestinians have used white phosphorous as a
WEAPON against Israeli civilians on a number of occasions...

From the white phosphorous Wiki:

=-=-=-=-=

White phosphorus was used on a number of occasions by Palestinian militants against Israel.

In September, 2010, Palestinian militants fired two mortar shells containing white phosphorus into Israel from the Gaza Strip.[61][62][63]

On November 19, 2010, the Salah al-Din Brigade fired four mortar shells containing white phosphorus into southern Israel from the Gaza Strip.[64]

On March 23, 2011, 10 Katyusha rockets containing white phosphorus were fired from Gaza. 7 hit the Eshkol region, while 3 more fell on a kibbutz in the Sha'ar Ha'Negev region. The Al-Quds Brigade of Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility. [65] [66]

=-=-=-=-=-=

The Palestinians had nothing to illuminate. The only reasons for
these attacks were to harm innocent people.

That is probably just propaganda.

Even if it is true, they have no jurisdiction in some other country.
Neither Israel or America are the world police.

Why can American and Israel have guns and bombs but they don't want anyone else to have them?

I'll tell you its because they are BULLIES. They don't want anyone to resist their forced agenda of capitalism and globalization.

Israel should stay the hell inside of their own boarders.

Restraint in land grabs???? laugh indifferent

Lebanon's president on Monday warned Israel against "unilateral decisions" in the demarcation of a shared maritime border, as a feud over offshore gas reserves between the two states deepens.
"President Michel Sleiman warns against any unilateral decisions Israel may take on maritime borders which would be a breach of international law, as is Israel's habit," Sleiman's office said in a statement.
Sleiman also said the issue would be up for talks at the first meeting of Lebanon's new government, which last Thursday won a vote of confidence in parliament.
While Prime Minister Najib Mikati's government is dominated by Shiite militant group Hezbollah, the last Western-backed Lebanese government had taken a similar stand in the growing conflict over offshore gas reserves.
Israel's cabinet on Sunday approved a map of the country's proposed maritime borders with Lebanon to be submitted for a UN opinion.
The proposed map lays out maritime borders that conflict significantly with those suggested by Lebanon in its own submission to the United Nations.
Lebanon's Energy Minister Gebran Bassil said Beirut will not give up its maritime rights and accused Israel of "violations of (Lebanese) waters, territory and airspace, and today our oil rights."
Israel for months has been moving to develop several large offshore natural gas fields in the eastern Mediterranean, some shared with Cyprus, that it hopes could help it to become an energy exporter.
But its development plans have stirred controversy with Lebanon, which argues the gas fields lie inside its territorial waters.
Israel does not have officially demarcated maritime borders with Lebanon, and the two nations remain technically at war.

First of all, they don't exactly use restraint when bombing the homes of innocent people whose only mistake is being in the line of fire.

Second.....even if they really did, does that give them the right to take everyone else's right to defend themselves away?

1) That doesn't happen, so I don't need to address point 1.

2) Aggression against other counties gives the moral authority to the stronger and non-aggressive country to disarm the weaker, but aggressive country. It's like taking a stick from a kid who is hitting you with it.
