Ya know, I read this thread and others of similar subject. As much as I really, really try to put myself in others shoes before making any kind of judgment... for the life of me I can not wrap my mind around WHY any of you give a flying **** who, what, where another chooses to marry. There is NO threat to your decision to not be gay, there is NO threat to your marriage..or potential marriage. There is no threat to YOU at all...why do you care? Seems to just keep coming back as..it's just not right, the definition of marriage has to be protected... get off your judgmental high horses. A same sex marriage has NOTHING to do with you or your beliefs... get over yourselves and let people live as they wish. so why are you worried about it? does anything i think or do affect you in any way, shape or form? you should get off your high horse and quit thinking that i should have to think like you and explain myself when i dont I care about the issue because I know gay people...many of them. Including a sister who is gay. They have the right to be happy...life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for ALL..not just hetro's. My high horse? The horse I ride that believes that ALL people have a right to live as they choose as long as it's not hurting you...is that the horse your referring to? It's really sad to me that religious dogma comes first to the happiness of human beings, it truly is. as someone else put it, happiness and marriage are two different issues we should all have the right to be happy and do whatever we want with whomever we want in our personal life we shouldnt have the government giving support to everything we want to do with whomever we want in our personal life though there is a difference, IF we were saying to outlaw homosexual lifestyles, I could understand the argument that everyone deserves to be happy but protesting homosexual marriage has nothing to do with stopping people from being able to live 'happy' It takes away something from them though that others can do, and denies them the benefits others get when marrying legally. Na, the only time the state of Utah ever went after a polygamist was when the olympics came to Salt lake City...1991 I believe (doh, I was there ) the world was watching and they took that poor guy Warren Jeffs and made an example out of him. Haven't heard a peep about it all since. Just saving face is all...hypocrites! Why in thee hell would any man want more than one wife?!?! We already kill ya off quicker as it is, wanna die faster... ; ) variety...and also to split up the chores variety is the spice of life..... na, the wives don't do the chores, that's what ya have 4 kids with each wifeie for. You tell other people they're wrong all the time. I believe I saw someone ask you about your beliefs and you assumed they were trying to change yours or tell you that you couldn't think the way you do. However, I didn't see anyone tell you that you were not allowed to think the way you do. You just assumed. And when I explained why I ask people about their beliefs, you said it was bs. So, it seems that you were the one who was just trying to argue. |

I find it really funny, how one posts something publically and then gets upset at being challenged on it. If you didn't want it to be challenged, maybe you shouldn't have said anything at all. To expect others to stay quiet on something they don't agree with you on and not question your side, is silly.
