**Recommended for Japanese horror fans. A bit like Ju-On, only milder.
Hitori kakurenbo: Gekijô-ban aka Creepy Hide and Seek When her classmate Ritsuko disappears, her friend Ryoko is desperate to find her. When she discovers that Ritsuko was playing a strange game online of hide and seek, she begins to wonder if it could be related to her disappearance somehow. Ryoko then discovers that the game is more sinister than it appeared at first. It is linked to demonology and the supernatural. Will she be able to get past her fears and superstitions to discover what secrets the game of hide and seek might hold? |

**Recommended for Japanese horror/thriller fans.
Death Bell At an exclusive high school in Seoul, examination marks matter and so do parents' social status. To prepare for a visit from students from England, two popular teachers, Mr. Kim and Ms. Choi, gather top pupils for a Saturday study session. Things go awry: one by one, students disappear, dying in grisly ways, sometimes in view of the others via closed circuit TV. A voice on the P.A. system warns of death if anyone tries to leave. The voice also asks questions, and Mr. Kim leads the students in trying to solve them, hoping to save a student. Will the ordeal come to an end, and is the cause rational or supernatural? What's the pattern? |

The Orphan Killer
Marcus Miller is a serial murderer hellbent on teaching his estranged sister Audrey what it means to have family loyalty. His lessons are taught in massive doses of vulgar and unimaginable pain. Throughout her brutal torture we learn that Marcus is not the only Miller with Killer in the bloodline as Audrey proves to be a formidable adversary. |

After ten minutes of this film, I'm positive the reviews on IMDb for this movie are all from the actors or someone connected to the film. That good, huh? Already sent you my IMDb review but thought I'd post it here as a warning. haha. Summary: To summarize the movie in one word: Blech. After watching the first ten minutes of this film, I'm pretty convinced that the ten out of ten votes in the other reviews were all given by either cast members or someone affiliated with the movie. There is no coherence in the story whatsoever. It was as if they only wanted to do every cliché in the horror book to be able to warrant a bloodbath scene. They probably thought that if they flood the screen with enough blood, people would think it's great. The audio did not compliment the film in any way, nor did the sound track. The killer sounded like a whacked out Darth Vader on crack having an orgasm. The killer's head gear looked like it was borrowed from The Man in the Iron Mask movie, but they haven't cleaned it since it was used in 1998. The only reason I'm giving this a two star rating is because I liked the quality of the fake blood. |
