This is very true. And to be real here,,I truly wish my Mother had did THAT...It would have saved many nightmares for all her children to of had...

I wrote this saying thanks to dads, but also to the Fathers to be,JUST BECAUSE OF THIS,,,(MOTHER'S RAISING KIDS WITH NO DADS IN THEIR LIVES)
I wrote this TRYING so very hard to express to ALL THE MEN,,their responsibilities in doing their part as a Father for their children
And being involved with them EVEN after a Divorce.
I married twice,,,and BOTH were single Mothers raising their child w/o a DAD in sight, and I know to well through my children the off set and mental torments of NOT HAVING """THEIR"""DAD involved in their lives,,as one of mine tried suicide because of HIS LACK OF CARING ABOUT HER...I TRIED to show here,,the REWARDS for a Father(as well as a Mother)for the giving of all their time and love to their children..NO AMOUNT OF HATE OR ANGER between the two parents should ever TAKE one away or keep one away,,unless THEY have issues that may HARM their child? So many parents Divorce and ONLY ONE stays in their children's lives to be responsible and nurturing to see them grow and become adults....I AM SO SORRY FOR THAT BEING YOUR CASE HERE LORI,,AS WELL AS MANY OTHER MOTHER'S HERE..
I WISH EVERY CHILD HAD BOTH TO LOVE INSIDE THEIR HEARTS,,for their hearts are the ones who really suffer the most w/o that...
THEY live with a VOID,,,never to be filled...unless THEY MAKE THAT HAPPEN,,,,and THEN,,like my own child,,,they GET THAT BAM IN THEIR HEAD OF THEIR REAL PARENTS LACK OF ANY REAL LOVE FOR THEM..And then THAT to breaks down their defenses to protect their hearts love for them,,and they break,,,,, ALL because ONE DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT WHAT THEY HELPED MAKE TO BECOME. I Have three kids,,ONLY ONE,,is through my blood,,the other two OUR VERY MUCH MY KIDS,,even IF I didn't help make them at birth,,I LET THEM KNOW THEY WERE LOVED BY ME, with NO DIFFERENCES between my blood child and my non-blood children,,""THEY WERE ALL THREE MY CHILDREN-PERIOD!""
There are GOOD MEN in this life who can and do TAKE RESPONSIBILITY not only for their selves but ALSO or MANY DEAD BEAT MEN WHO WOULD NEVER WANT TO DO THEIR PARTS...MY boy's mother GAVE ME CUSTODY of my sons,,,NOT because I Fought her in court,,because SHE KNEW SHE WAS NOT A GOOD MOTHER AT THAT TIME FOR THEM...I RESPECTED her for KNOWING THAT,,,but I will say this,,I NEVER WOULD HAVE GIVEN MY FATHER-HOOD TO THEM AWAY------NEVER!
MANY Mom's and DAD'S raise their children ALONE,,,and to them ALL,,I give ALL MY RESPECT FOR THEIR LOVE THEY HAVE TO WANT TO BE BOTH ROLLS IN THEIR CHILDREN'S RAISING UP...OR THE ONES WHO DIDN'T HAVE A CHOICE IN THAT MATTER,,THEY STILL ENDURED AND WENT THROUGH THAT EXPERIENCE ALONE.....LOVE AND PEACE TO ALL PARENTS WHO PLAYED BOTH ROLLS AS FATHERS TO THEIR CHILDREN AND TO ALL WHO PLAYED BOTH ROLLS AS MOTHERS TO THEIR CHILDREN...
Lets HOPE and PRAY,,that ANY Dad or mom here now or to be?,,,Reads this and FEELS,,they need to be there for their child..

"MY Father was an emotional rollercoaster.One day He was the best dad in the world and the next day i would be so mad at him.A serious love/hate relationship battled for years.He may have done alot of things wrong but I still managed to learn the right things to do.He wasnt the perfect father but he made me who I am and I couldnt never thank him enough.I wish i would have had more time with him."

This is what my brother wrote about Dad yesterday! We all felt like this with him. Both of my LTRs were with men that did not know their fathers, which helped to strengthen my relationship with my Dad as I realized how lucky I was to have him there, even meddling in my life uninvited...

Dad & I argued about car insurance once because gramma gave me a car! I got liability on it so I could go pick it up, but didn't have full coverage due to not having the actual car yet! Before I could make the trip down to get it...Ike hit & flooded the town. The car was in gramma garage which got 8-10 feet of water...yes salt water! He started screaming at me for not having full coverage insurance on the car & I hung up on him! He didn't talk to me for a few months. How dare I hang up on my Daddy while he was screaming at me about something I had absolutely no control over! LOL
