Topic: I Need Your Help! | |
---|---|
So here's the deal: My sorta kinda boss wants me to help him dig a footer (basically a ditch) this afternoon. The problem is, instead of starting out early this morning, he waits until the hottest part of the day. And it's not like he had stuff to do or anything, that's just the way he is.
I guess the moral of this story is: I don't wanna go. It's too damn hot to be digging! Anyone have any good excuses to tell him to get myself out of this? |

Tell him you will be happy to help him out if he could start of a morning when it isn't so hot....simple as that

Just tell him to pull his head out of his a$$. If he wants to dig a ditch especially without mechanical assistance during the hottest time of the day he can do it himself. DO NOT LET OTHERS PUT YOUR A$$ IN A COMPROMISING SITUATION LIKE THAT! I had to sling Iron in 110 degree weather and it swallowed! I swore never to let anyone put me through that ever again!

Crisis has successfully been diverted.
I don't have to be there until 7am, which is good, because there's nothin' like grabbing hold of a shovel first thing in the morning. |
