I'll usually add someone if I've had some interaction with them in the forums. Most of the people on my friends list are people I interact with in the forums regularly and message fairly often. I always answer messages and nudges, but I won't accept a friend request from someone that I've never had any interaction with.

Yeahh well...it seems pointless accepting a friend request if they're just going to sit in your friend list and do nothing further to get to know you. Which appears to be common place. I'd rather have no one there at all...because it just seems more "for show" than anything else.
What for??
