That's the point that Conservatives want so desparately to make. Unfortunately. Things don't work that way. The Republican Depression caused it all. Obama is digging us out. That is a slow and lengthy process. The economists estimate it will take ten years and it is very delicate right now. If we get to involved in cutting everything back we will fall into depression |

The OP information was done in January of 2009. I don't even think Obama was in office yet.   No, 2009 shows what state the country was in! January 2009--state of the country in 09 TODAY--2 years after Obama % chg--Duh  just shows how non - informed liberals are these days....

There is no truly separate parties, just one big one under the guise of two. Nothing will ever change no matter which side holds the office, because that does not suit them. The only thing that will and has changed over the years, is that we keep getting ****ed over worse and worse. People need to open their eyes, if anyone really wanted change it would have long since happened but it hasn't and won't so long as we keep playing the game. The only president that I can recall in the last 40-50 years at least, that actually tried to make big changes, and revamp the entire government and economic system, was JFK. And he was taken out before he could do what he wanted to do. It's really very simple, anyone who gets to that high a position of power, is there because they won't bite the hand that feeds them, they won't rock the boat. If they try, they will be replaced as JFK was. They will do all they can to protect their power. |

Really I think both liberals and conservative alike are rather non-informed. We have been played so badly, and many just can't see it. Truth. Well, that is a bit of a difficult question to answer. Reason being their power is so all encompassing, that it makes it very hard to fight them and win. Having said that, the first thing we need to do is become educated about what is and what has been happening for a long time. They hold all the power that they do, because of our own ignorance, allowing them to get away with all that they have. So in order to make change at the very least for ourselves, education is key. Once we have that, then we can start to apply it to our lives, and educate others too as well. It's a person by person thing really, not everyone is gonna be able to be awakened at the same time, it's a process. But it has to start with becoming informed ourselves so that we know what the truth is and what's not. If you don't know that, you won't make much change. |
