I tend to not like anyone who was already in the spotlight when they decided to run!

Only those people stand a chance of winning though.

All though I am really impressed with Cain's surgeing in the polls.

Also am I the only one who Romney reminds of Fogell(AKA McLovin') From Superbad?

one thing i do like about him is that he is ex-military, and he stands a good chance of beating obama

from wiki "A 2010 scientific poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports among likely voters found Ron Paul and Barack Obama to be statistically tied in a hypothetical 2012 presidential election contest.[6][7][8]" that's why the libs started the racist issue about him...

He's ex-military that hates our military. He is also racist, hates Israel and loves Muslims.

False. He has numerous times expressed the highest respect for the military. This is why he insists on a declaration of war so the invasion of Iraq/Afghanistan can be fought properly (constitutionally), won, and bring the troops back home (as well as all the numerous other countries troops are stationed unconstitutionally). He has never said he "loves muslims" in the public record. But even if he did, so what? Muslims in the broadest sense are people like you and I. Ron, as a devout Christian, takes Yeshua's teachings about loving others (even those who curse one) seriously. Did you know that Ron got more money from military and ex-military folks in the 2007-08 season than any other candidate? This is no coincidence.

If the GOP were serious about winning in '12, they'd nominate Ron.

I like Ron Paul but is he too old or too Libertarian to win.

I'd. Like to hear reasons he could not win.

one reason is the liberals have already "painted" him as a racist... he has some good ideas, and i would think about voting for him

Republicans have lost the election already! Ron Paul is a non-starter.
Here's why in a nutshell so to speak...

Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the ‘criminal justice system,’ I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal. — Printed In Ron Paul’s Newsletter (but not written by him)

Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty and the end of welfare and affirmative action. — Printed In Ron Paul’s Newsletter (but not written by him)

The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers. On the contrary, our Founders’ political views were strongly informed by their religious beliefs. — Ron Paul

The Founding Fathers envisioned a robustly Christian yet religiously tolerant America, with churches serving as vital institutions that would eclipse the state in importance. — Ron Paul

Through perverse court decisions and years of cultural indoctrination, the elitist, secular Left has managed to convince many in our nation that religion must be driven from public view. The justification is always that someone, somewhere, might possibly be offended or feel uncomfortable living in the midst of a largely Christian society, so all must yield to the fragile sensibilities of the few. The ultimate goal of the anti-religious elites is to transform America into a completely secular nation, a nation that is legally and culturally biased against Christianity. — Ron Paul

He’s also of the opinion that there is serious disagreement within the scientific community regarding global warming. I was under the impression that the only people disagreeing at this point are in denial.

He doesn't have racist views-that anyone can document. If he does, there's no proof of it.

F456 Ron Paul. He IS a racist. I've met the guy twice, i've seen how he looks and talks to people, he IS a racist.

Those were HIS newsletters, he read over EVERYTHING to give a thumbs up or down before they were printed.

THe guy is a lunatic who doesn't have a chance in mainstream politics and is looked at as the joke he really is by 99% of the people in this country.

Not to mention he took Bin Laden's side after we killed him. F$%^ Ron Paul.

The main reason he wont win is he is a lunatic and needs to be medicated.
No details explaining this vitriolic position?

I here this from some people but they never actual explain why they think that.

None of that is either true, or from the man himself. Cite it, or its just more political BS, which undermines your opinions.
