Parents Upset After School Yearbook Lists George W. Bush, Dick Cheney as Worst People of All Time

OK, so that last list probably isn't seen in most school yearbooks, but it's raising the ire of parents and community members in Arkansas. The Fox affiliate in Little Rock reports the names in the Russellville Middle School yearbook include, in order, Adolph Hitler, Osama bin Laden, Charles Manson, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.

Parents were outraged when they discovered the list, according to the station, and, in reaction, the school district had the list with black duct tape.

Superintendent Randall Williams says the printing of the list was "an oversight," Fox 16 reports, and said he was disappointed to learn the tape could simply be peeled off the page.

"I'm furious as a parent and as a board member and as a tax payer and as a resident of Russellville," School Board Member Chris Cloud, who has two children in the district, tells the station. "It's wrong."

Williams tells Fox 16 the yearbook sponsor -- a teacher -- is "very, very, very" upset that she didn't pay more attention the page with the list, and that the yearbook editing process is being reviewed.

"I think she maybe just scanned the whole page and went on," he tells the station, adding that he can't talk about disciplinary action.

as funny as it is on one hand, in reality children are usually just reflecting the attitudes of the adults around them

but its not a list that serves much of a purpose, and didnt need to be there,,,

Aren't there faaaaar greater things to be worried/upset about? It's not like this will have any negative effect on society or anything. People get worked up over the dumbest things.

I think they are upset about the message it sends to kids to rank people in this way.

its a parents perogative to choose what makes them upset,,and in which manner/environment they want their children taught,,,

Considering where the school is located, if Obama would have made the list they would be patting the kids on the back...making it a yearly event...posting it in the local newspaper....probably buying the kids a car....

It just shows the liberal indoctrination going on in our schools.

thats what their PARENTS Were asking about their SCHOOL NEWSPAPER

it was there because the STUDENTS wanted it there,, it made headlines elsewhere because PARENTS OF STUDENTS Were complaining about something(Thats usually a bit newsworthy somewhere)...

The truth hurts. Because of the decisions made by Bush and Cheney the kids will grow up in a far worse world than their parents did.

The rich get richer and the poor and middle class will get poorer.

When the dust settles on this economic shakedown their wont be much left of america to defend.
