I have never seen so many candidates or people considering to run for President. Even if you take out the constant candidates like Ron Paul there are still a lot.

There are over ten that have announced they are running and close to fifteen more who are thinking about it or forming exploritory committees.

Hell now Trump might be back in. Rick Perry is now really considering it, Giuliani(who I support fully if he runs) is putting a campaign team together, Bachmann is expected to announce next week, Huntsman is putitng a fundraising team together, Peter King said if Giuliani doesn't run he will, DeMint is also considering it as well as Bolton, McCotter and Pataki. Looks like Palin will as well, god I hope she doesn't but all the cards are pointing to her running. :(

This really shows how unpopular Obama is. Not many people would get in the race is he was popular or stood a chance at re-election.

the 2008 elections had ten democratic candidates, 15 republican and five OTHER

this will probably not exceed, especially since not many democrats will be running ,,

Not really, people don't like to risk losing to an Incumbent a Presidential race because it probably means they will never win as it hurts their chances. This are a lot of big names with a lot to lose, they definately know there is a chance, or they wouldn't take it.

Obama is not as hated as you would hope....

The Official Tally is 13 entered.
15 considering it.

On the Democrat side 3 have entered Obama, Randall Terry and Warren Mosler. Mosler could be a problem for Obama, they guy has money and backing.

Mosler has strong experience with economy , which is a big deal right now

OBama has strong experience in law and the constitution

it will come down, for me, to the debates,, who is most WELL ROUNDED, DIPLOMATIC, and FIRM,,, and whether their history (recent) matches up with what they claim to be supportive of,,,,

owning a private business, by itself, isnt impressive to me

nor a presidential plus/minus

my cousin owns several businesses, doesnt mean she would understand enough about government and world relations to be president,,,

all ownership is not equal, regardless of the success of the company

people have different ways of becoming 'owners', and they have different levels of actual INVOLVEMENT in the company they 'own'
