I'm single because I want to be single. After many years of being in an unhappy marriage, I am happy to be free and I am enjoying my independence. Someday my feelings may change but for now my life is just what I want it to be!

What I don't quite understand is, ok, this is suppose to be a "dating site", but yet it's rare I see or hear of actual dates being done
And not just this thread, but others also, there's loads of people are here that just want friends (e-friends), so why call this a dating site in the first place when most of us are just or become friends in the end and nothing else?? |

What I don't quite understand is, ok, this is suppose to be a "dating site", but yet it's rare I see or hear of actual dates being done
And not just this thread, but others also, there's loads of people are here that just want friends (e-friends), so why call this a dating site in the first place when most of us are just or become friends in the end and nothing else?? Because this is a free service and it is not "required" that we hook up and date someone. We are allowed to be friends.

Ive dated lots of nice guys from here... just havent found "the one".(at least nowhere nearby). You can definitely get dates on here... and lots of people that met here, are still together. Its for friendship, yes, AND dating both! Thats why Mingle rockssssssssss!!!!

I understand you can be friendship only, that's fine with me, they should just market it differently is all, just my 2 cents I guess.
I'm realistic, and realize I'll probably never get a date off of here, mainly because nobody in Illinois is on anymore or they deactivated. But, that's just my state. Got alot of friends on here that rock, just sucks they're all over the country!

14 years ago my wife ran off with my best friend. I sure have missed him.
This time I'm looking for a new best friend, only a female this go round. I've been looking for 14 years now. Friendship is the path to love. I haven't found the first step of the ladder yet. Any ideas? |
