Why I love the Rain
It was that moment when I saw you dancing with yours arms stretched out and your head lifted up; with your hair falling back ever so slightly you were too beautiful to continue looking at so I closed my eyes and kept the picture within me for all the days of my life You looked so perfect spinning and laughing as the cool drizzle of rain caught every ray of sunlight that decided to dance with you the temperature was warm enough to be cool as your sundress clung close to your body touching you in places my hands wanted to experience The juxtaposition of the sun shining brilliantly enough to glisten in the rain that made love to you made my soul ache with a beautiful joy only my eyes cold describe I remember sheepishly hiding behind “Hello” hoping that your smile wouldn’t mind my intrusion; it was that moment without knowing you that I knew I would be in love with you for all the days of my life |
