Funny thing when I was on another dating site and you couldn't respond to any body unless you paid a monthly fee, so one day I went for it since it didn't cost to much infact it's one of the many dating sites this free one has an ad on.

Any ways thinking because I had loads of emails left and right from all kinds of women it just turned out to be the biggest waste of going for a pay site yet.

I mean I had no doubt real gold diggers so to speak. Funny thing and true, I had many or about four or more pretty sexy women ask me for help there so called help would be money etc etc.

Crazest thing I guess ever happened to me, and no I didn't and wouldn't be that stuiped to send money, to somebody claiming there in some unknow place and in order to get out they need a good amount of cash etc.

Any of you people run into sites like " Singlesnet.com "

I've heard of Swingersnet and Crack.com and e-Hoormoany and similar sites and about the cranks and users that abound on such sites and so I avoid them like the plague. I come here to have fun and a few laughs, but as far as starting a relationship, (if and when I ever decide to go down that sordid road again), it would only be with someone close enough to smack with a tire iron every once in a while. Nothing says loving like automotive accessories upside the old brain box.

I was on the one you mentioned (in the original post) for 3 months early last year, as a paying member. I chose them because they seemed to have the most local people.

During the 3 months, I received messages from 174 of their members. 170 of those were complete wastes of time. These were people who obviously had either not read my profile all the way through, or who had chosen to ignore it. A number of them were persistently asking me to meet them in local bars. I don't drink, I don't go to bars, and I am not interested in anyone who does -- and I made this perfectly clear in my profile. Still, the requests continued.

There were a lot of nutjobs on that site. One girl sent me 26 e-mails in one day, begging me to help her, although she never did say with what. In her profile pic, she was hiding behind an enormous curtain.

The 4 who weren't automatic dead ends all turned out to be unsuitable for one reason or another, and I haven't talked to any of them in over a year.

The funny thing is, since I never deleted the account, it is technically still up and running (although as a non-pay membership), and I still average 1 or 2 messages a day over there.

Since I'm not paying, I can't reply to the flirts (except with another flirt). I can reply to e-mails sent by paying members but none of the ones who have written me have been suitable either.

What I learned was it's easy to waste $24.95 a month for nothing. In retrospect, I think I should have already known that....

LexFonteyne, yeah that the same way I felt to.

One girl who told me she wanted to marry me and have kids and everything with me for weeks at a time, she would want me to get money to her to get her out of some doctor place she was stuck at until she paid her bill. It was the most crazyest thing next to this other girl from the same site who wanted to meet me too and send her cash as well and all, she in fact had cash or money orders she wanted me to cash, I'd tired and after the bank told me they wheren't good I said okay and felt like an dumb dumb that day but not really, so I emailed and told her and she wanted me to try again I go no and last time I heard from her.

Crazyest thing I'd had happen to me probably ever off of any dating site.
