Have you ever had a moment where time slows down so much that it seems to go on forever?

Have you ever looked at someone for the first time, and known them a lifetime?

Have you ever found you know someone instantly?...that they have always been there, more a part of you, than you would ever have known?

I have had this experience once before, I knew him before I met him, instantly....and what evolved from that was a lifelong love.

It has appeared again....minding my own business, perambulating around in my day to day, unglamorous, unprepared, not a hairbrush, mascara, or shoes to be seen world....and WHAM!

He appeared....exactly as I knew him to be...barefoot, fisherman pants, long silver ponytail, liquid brown eyes, and silent.

His silence is the most powerful recognition for me...as I live mostly in silence...and yet his music is melodical, ethereal, and familiar.

Self contained, accepting, allowing, gentle, humble.

And the strangest part?...it is as if he has always been here...the ease and comfort of sharing space for both of us, is so natural it as if we have always known each other.

He blends so well in our crazy house, and crazy lives, I think he was made for this Now.

I'm a little ruffled and wrong footed on the superficial level...and thankfully he hears it.

When you least expect it, when you have surrendered and accepted that your lifetime has known that One Great Love, you've had your lot....BOOM...knocked me on my arse.laugh

Share with me your thoughts, please?

Jess, you just described exactly how I feel about Anaconda, its just like he has always been apart of me, and can settle in our madness but be silent when I just want to be me..

Yes, happened to me with a girl I first met online about a year ago now.

On paper, it never should have worked. We were very very different, I was religious or somewhat religious anyway, she was not. We were total opposites in that sense, and given that she was (and still is to an extent) a bit more wild than I am. But nevertheless, from the very first time we chatted by phone, there was a connection, there was a spark. I don't know that either of us really understood it at the time, but we had a definite chemistry in our conversations. We haven't stopped talking ever since.

There's been many twists and turns in our friendship, with each of us having gone through some changes. Mine perhaps have been more drastic in that I'm no longer really religious and am closer to what she believes now than I was when I met her. But through it all, we have never stopped communicating. We have a very special relationship to each other, a very unique bond.

No matter what happens from here, whether we end up as lovers in the future or just great friends, she's become an important part of my life, one I wouldn't want to be without. I feel very blessed to be able to share the moments and time I am able to with her.

So yeah....life really is a strange thing. You just never know what or who may forever change your life.

Now, I am not fascetious at all, whatsoever, even an iota, when I say that can't be beat. A partner who doesn't talk when you don't want him to.

Finally, I can see why no woman ever wanted to settle down with me.

happy It's just that I like quiet, i love to talk but sometimes you just want to be there, you dont want to think or talk or anything, and it is so nice to have someone the same,

Someone who doesnt sit there and want to know what you are thinking, when you arnt thinking anything, someone who thinks they have to fill every second with mindless chatter,

I love talking and could probably talk underwater if i was inclined, and yep at times I am full of random useless chatter, but I am a country girl, I grew up in the bush and i like to just hear nothing at times..Although I love the madness of my home, i still like to sit and say nothing just enjoy someones company..

Fuhs, you went sour (flat) from here 'Yes. My parents' on. Please allow me.

Have you ever found you know someone instantly?...that they have always been there, more a part of you, than you would ever have known?

Yes... my undeveloped little brother, my siamese twin, his features visible under a microscope, or by an anal probe, physically hidden away in the deep recesses of my bowels.

I have had this experience once before, I knew him before I met him, instantly....and what evolved from that was a lifelong love.

Yes! Yes!! I realised who he was, too late in my life, and only after much soul-searching and after having successfully completed the journey of 'trying to find myself'.

Hi, everyone, I woke up a tad too early, and am very not with it, so I am a bit more arrogant than usual or would otherwise be necessary.

Like for instance my re-editing Fuch's masterpiece there. That was a good write, Fuchs, and I oughtn't to have tampered with it. I apologise.

I also don't see well first thing in the morning, you must know.

That said,...

You can talk undewrater, fine, Josie, but can you do that underwater AND upside down, with your feet tied to your neck, and drinking a glass of water at the same time?

This: 'at times I am full of random useless chatter' I read at first as 'at times I am full of condom useless chatter'

'I grew up in the bush' You sound very much like a cute little kangaroo baby. No disrespect to your mom, though, please give her my warmest regards.

I AM GOING BACK TO BED.
