While I have a nervous breakdown...I'm having one of those days I want to just sit down & like a baby!!! Tried to rent a car for one way trip 9 hours away & I have to rent round trip for 5-6 days. I'd hoped to drive up & drop the car off at another location. BF trip's been delayed & I'd thought of driving up for a few days, driving back with him. Anyway's thanks for letting me rant!!! I feel better now!!

try looking into a small uhaul truck or van. they have quite a few one way trip vechicles. good luck. pwj

This is a very good idea, I think you can rent a small U Haul for $19 a day (plus tax and gas) Just return to the rental place closest to your boy friend and have him pick you to there.

Maybe this is over simplified but it sounds like it could work.

I may check into that in the morning. Hadn't even thought of a uhaul. Hell, I'd ride a horse & buggy if it'd get me there asap!! I actually have a 94 saturn in Good to EC sitting in my driveway. Bought it last August & the woman I purchased it from had to get a lost title & I'm waiting on my title to get here. Been sitting all this time except for a couple thousand miles I've put on it running my old tags. Got busted for that tho!! Had planned on putting it in BF name & getting insurance & tags thru IN. Found out the insurance com has to see the car before insuring it. So, I'll just get the tags here. He's paying off some bills of mine so I was going to sell him the car. Had I known all this I could have gotten it legal last Tuesday. Now, he's all depressed missing me & worried because I've been a basket case the past few days. I don't do seperation well.

Just checked my local uhaul. No trucks or vans avaliable at the moment. Only the big box trucks. 3 day rental cost over $400. Just not worth it if I can't get a pickup or van. Title didn't come for the car this morning so I'm stuck.

AMTRAK! I use it often, even though I have a car. Gas up here is outrageous!
