WASHINGTON -- One day after getting out of the presidential race himself, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee played his Trump card.
"Donald Trump would be better for America than Barack Obama," Huckabee said on "Fox News Sunday," throwing his support behind the real-estate mogul's possible run for the White House in 2012.
"Donald Trump has taken a pro-life position. He believes that we are getting shanghaied by China, which I agree with," Huckabee said.
He also gave Trump credit for having business experience that would help make him a good president.
Huckabee, who has a talk show on Fox News Channel, bucked expectations and announced on his show Saturday that he would not seek the Republican presidential nomination.
