Written for my ex wife. I hope she sees it.

How does it feel to crush someone
Does it make you feel all right
How does it feel to rip a family apart
Does it make you sleep good at night

How does it feel to destroy someone’s life
To tear their world apart
How does it feel to throw away a marriage
To completely shatter someone’s heart

How does it feel to see someone cry
To end all their dreams
How does it feel to see an empty soul
You don’t have feelings it seems.

I never want to know what it’s like
To walk around in your shoes
Or see what fate will deliver to you
To live this life you choose

Now that you know just how I feel
I don’t like to keep you guessen.
There’s just one small thing that I’d like to ask
Did it teach you a lesson?

You always said “It’s always me.”
That seems to be your saying
I’ve told you once and even twice
I don’t like the games your playing

See what it’s like to get your wish
To have your wishes come true
Better watch what you wish for

With a big puff of thick smoke
And a long rock and roll song
You turn around just in time to see
In another big smoke puff I was gone.

I didn't really expect any one to relate to this one but I did. I hope
none of you ever feel like I did when I wrote this.

Thanks for your thoughts. I have found someone to help me feel the love I had with my ex. I was in bad shape for a long time after this breakup. As with any divorce that involves kids, they are the ones that pay the ultimate price and I feel bad for my two boys that they had to go through this as well.

I'm happy for you,I do hope never to feel that pain again,but more important is the kids.Sometimes I question myself,that maybe I should of stayed for my kids.

I tryed that at one point too and all it does is prolong the enevatable. The kids are whitness to more things that way too. It seems that it makes it even harder if the kids are older. I don't know anymore really what a person should do. It sucks that people don't work at relationships anymore. It's love, marrage, kids, divorce. I don't understand.
