They say pride is one of the seven deadly sins, yet I can't help but feel it after finishing my FINAL final exam today! Regardless of how I did on it, I will pass the course and all my other ones too, which ultimately means that I accomplished a long awaited dream of attaining my Bachelor of Science degree in Biobehavioral Psychology with a Chemistry minor. I WILL graduate on May 22, and although my Dad won't physically be present, this was his dream for me and I promised him on his death bed only days before this year began that I would fulfill it no matter what. I kept that promise today and while it is a bittersweet moment for sure, I feel tremendous pride in being able to do that. I did it for you Dad...It's been 9 months today since I said good-bye, but I'll know you'll be walking down that aisle with me! I hope I made you proud!! R.I.P.

I doubted right up until today though...in fact, I really won't truly believe it until I'm being handed the diploma on stage. Then I'll probably burst into tears of joy (and some sorrow!) but for now, I'm just grinning from ear to ear! Thanks for helping me through it Lex! You're a true friend! Thanks Row. It's an odd feeling...I think I like it!
