You can try to silence me Attempt to censor my mind But my voice will be heard Whether it be spoken or my written words Take away my pen and ink I will write in tears and blood Cut my tongue from my mouth I will sign what needs to be said I will shout it from mountain tops Whisper it in the valleys below I will sing out across the rivers Mutter across the seas I will be heard My voice will be loud and proud Whether it be spoken Or written words I will be heard
