For TV horror- Night Gallery, Kolchak The Night Stalker, Werwolf, Tales From The Darkside, Monsters, Friday The 13th: The Series, Buffy TV scifi- Land Of The Giants, Lost In Space, Farscape, Sliders, Outer Limits(both versions), original Battlstar Galactica. Blending of both- The X-Files, Twilight Zone, Ray Bradbury Theater More recent horror films I've enjoyed(more recent as in the last few years)- Tucker & Dale VS Evil, Piranha 3D, Husk, The Horde, The Crazies, I Spit On Your Grave, Hatchet 1 & 2, House Of The Devil, Albino Farm, The Children, Plague Town, Trick R Treat, Doghouse, Drag Me To Hell, Zombieland, Pig Hunt, Babysitter Wanted, Bad Biology, All The Boys Love Mandy Lane, The Burrowers, The Cottage. Recent scifi- Moon, Book Of Eli, The Road, District 9, Star Trek, Surrogates, Cloverfield, Doomsday, Deathrace 1 and 2, Timecrimes Drag me to Hell? You can try dragging me to that movie, but I'd never watch that again. I thought it was extremely entertaining, it felt old school Sam Raimi.

as far as horror - i still can't sit through the shining start to finish. sci/fi horror - event horizon was a messed up trip. . . .

sci-fi: Stargate SG1/Atlantis, Doctor Who, Torchwood. Fantasy: Game of Thrones horror flicks... The only thing I liked about "Drag me to hell" was the 'suprise' twist ending. Burn baby, burn! I liked the first Saw movies, before the entire franchise became a drag. Same with the Final Destination movies. I still think the 1st was great. Not very scary, but still fun to watch. I liked Hostel 2 better than the first. And Cube. Brilliant little flick. Not really horror, except maybe the first scene, but still great.

My favorite horror movies: The Bride of Frankenstein, The exorcist, An american werewolf in London, The Black cat, The Wolf man(1941), Cat People(1942), I walked with a zombie, The body snatcher, Frankenstein, The Howling, Night of the hunter, Mad love...god, too many to name. Horror is my favorite genre so it's easier for me to say what my favorite Italian horror movie is or favorite vampire movies is then to tell anyone what my favorite horror movie is. favorite horror shows: The Twilight Zone, Tales from the crypts and the outer limits. This isn't counting hosted movies like Elvira's movie macabre. Favorite science fiction show: Doctor Who(mainly Matt Smith) Favorite science fiction movie: The Original Day the earth stood still, blade runner, Japanese monster movies, Ray Harryhausen...Ed wood movies..haha

I dunno, I liked a few traps in Hypercube and I quite liked Cube Zero, but the original was definately the best! Only seen it like 8 or 9 times or so :-D

Dr. Who, Being Human (Original version), Buffy, Angel, Night Stalker, X-files, Supernatural, Torchwood, True Blood, Original Battlestar Galactica, Early Edition, Quantum Leap, Cloverfield, Sixth Sense, District 9.....I could go on and on! Any other Supernatural fans out there??? Good choices. I'm watching the original Night Stalker on YouTube, right now....

Three pages of replies and not one mention of Star Trek? Kind of gives new meaning to the phrase, "it goes without saying." But here are a few things to think about. Without Star Trek what would they have named the first space shuttle? or the first commercial space ship? Would we have cell phones? iPads? A few other honorable mentions (in alphabetical order) TV Series: Alien Nation BSG/Caprica Earth 2 Quantum Leap SeaQuest DSV SG1/SGU (not Atlantis) V Warehouse 13 Movies: Contact Cube/Cube Zero (not Hypercube) Equilibrium The Island Surrogates Horror: Hostel The Ring Saw (yes, I liked all of them) I'm sure as soon as I hit "Post" I'll think of about a half a dozen that I'm forgetting.
