Yes there was two forums at once, caught in the middle.

Just hate it when that happens!
Never seen it before, a bit like "Haleys Comet", a once in a life time deal

Every 75 years, I would think it would be only once in a life time unless you happen to be born just before the first time and really lived long enough for the second time. A man in Montana just passed at 114 years old. What a life he indeed saw in his life time.

He would have been interesting to talk to...the stories he could have told.

That was the first thing I thought of. His life was one century long, with all the history he lived indeed. He would of been very exciting to sit with and listen to the stories. I would of love that.

How is your friend doing?
It is rough going for him. Therapy is painful but he has a positive attitude. He should get out of the rehab Sunday or Monday.

A friend I met through Mingle had double knee replacement last week. Thanks Jeff. I am sure it will have a happy ending once he gets through learning how to walk again

You are right Jeff and I am just trying to play the role of cheerleader. My ex husband had the same surgery 10 years ago so I have experience with helping him through it

I do agree, I wrote down my grandfather sayings. I saved my grandmothers recipes with all the little notes on the side. My great grand father would tell stories till someone said enough. I wish I would of been older to write them down.
