Topic: Because I Care | |
---|---|
I will spell it out in fragments.
I will spell it out in strange alphabet. I will paint in broad strokes. I'll make sense outta' nonsense. I'll make something from nothing. I'll collect the fractals. I'll construct the structure. I'm aware that I'm aware. And all this...I do for you ...because I care. |

when i was young, my eyes were good, my teeth were white and straight
my ears were tuned to everything, my sense of smell was great i never had an achy back, nor creak in any joint i felt like i was superman, but wait..that's not my point. i graduated high school, leaving home with just my name tried to be a soldier, but the army knew my game instead i drank my time away in europe, what a blast but soon it all caught up to me, i knew it wouldn't last. arizona then became my home for just one year drank myself oblivious, jack daniels, coke and beer then i came back home again, i still had not one clue i packed my **** and moved around i'd guess the whole year through. anyway i'll cut this short and tell you what i've learned partying your life away will only get you burned for now my sight is blurry, and i can't see far away my teeth opaque and yellow in the stages of decay. my wife is always yelling, i no longer hear so well all those years of metal must have blown my ears to hell my nose is always stuffy, and i can't smell worth a **** now morning's find me aching and it's hard to cope with it. i wish i would have slowed it down throughout my early years gave myself the rest i'd need to battle future tears now here i am, a beaten man, life laughing in my face for all the time i've wasted, in a life i can't replace. |
