Robin, though I don't know you, I just want to express my deepest sympathy for you, the boys, and family. This was heartbreaking to read. But, I'm writing this to say thank you for the wonderful example of strength and hope you have shown. May God guide you through this period, and grant to you the same grace, you have shown us.

Dear Mingle family, I know I have been neglectfull in my duties as a friend. But as most of you know, when life calls you answer. I meet my fiance here on mingle. He was not on here long. As a matter of fact I was the first and only person he contacted. His name is Rick and he has 2 wonderful sons. Those lovely young men are hockey players and they need their dad. My Rick's kidneys have failed. He is in the intensive care unit in critical condition. I have finally found someone that loves me, respects me and I am very in love with. I know the power of prayer and the wonderful faithfull mingle family. Many of you might not remember me and I am sure none of you know Rick, yet I know how blessed we are to be a part of this family. Thank you for all your help. Robin THIS MAN,,needs YOU and God and many Prayers to make him better,,YOU BOTH have mine everyday,,and HOPE LIVES when LOVE makes PRAYERS,,,, ,,,,,Be Blessed and Be WELL as this is a very sad time to share,,,,,hugs,,,and light your way.....

Thank you everyone.
The past 4 days have been a blur. And today is the first day all alone and too much time to think. It's awful. I hurt, I am angry, sad, and scared. I hurt because he is not here to make all this awfullness go away like he did when I was sad or upset. He promised me that he would never let anyone hurt me ever again. I am angry that all our plans for the future, promises made to each other can not be fulfilled. Sad, because I miss him so much and scared, just because I do not know what to do. So why am I here, and not with family or friends? Because, family lives in other states, friends in town disapeared before the funeral. And since we meet here on mingle, it just feels like home. I am sure some will give me flak ( because this is a "dating site" ) but just as many will be supportive. Isn't that how real families work? Again, Thank you my mingle family. Robin |
