In his defense (never thought I would say that) he was on the campaign trail when he said he hasn't been to Alaska or Hawaii yet. As for the 57 state part, well I've never heard the explanation for that one.

As for the 57 state part, well I've never heard the explanation for that one. partial truth is as deceptive as a lie u are correct, the context of his statement was in reference to where he had gone on his 'campaign trail' in regards to 57, he had been traveling and campaigning tirelessly, he first says he has been to fifty(perhaps a slip, thinking about the fifty states), and then he correct to say 'seven' because he still had to go to one state and that alaska and hawaii(the other two) he was not permitted to go doing the math, it would be pretty probable that he meant 47 states,,, |
