i would explain to him that you did not like his behavior and that it made you feel uncomfortable. if he pushes the issue tell him you aren't interested. hopefully he gets the hint.

Being one to try to see the positive in what can seem like a negative I would drop him and go back and have fun with the drummer some more. You said you had fun doing that. Nothing wrong with having fun and enjoying yourself. I take it you can play the drums? You might find some fun guys on JSH who like to play musical instruments.

Hi, i know i'm new here so maybe I'm out of place saying anything. Having said that i'd say sounds like the date went bad when you got tired of his schmoozing and went and talked to the drummer. Perhaps that is the point the date should've ended. If you said something then maybe he wouldn't be bothering you today.
As a guy that doesn't date much (if at all), maybe I'm way off base. I think if I did take a girl out and she got tired of me and was looking for something to do on a date. meh, I'd appreciate being told i was getting too weird or whatever.
Note: it does sound like he is being ass after the date.

I'm a drummer so I didn't think while he was having fun with his buddies that there was anything wrong with going and telling the drummer how good I thought he was....I couldn't get a word in edgewise to tell him anything and I wasn't about to embarrass him in front of his cohorts - that's a real quick way to alienate a guy - I wasn't flirting I wasn't even interested I'm just a musical person when he asked me to sit in I was flattered. So please don't get it wrong.

ah sorry, i didn't know he'd abandonded you for his drinking buddies. Ya, forget him.
