I'm doing ok. I still have quite a bit of bleeding from where they cut me open. I haven't taken a vicodin since yesterday morning but i just might after I get home this morning. Also when they stuck the tube down my throat(without me knowing) they must have scraped it because i feel something dangling down there that makes me gag.

omg..i went to take off the guaze that the hospital put on me and the sticky part was on my stitches..also i didn't get it off all the way because it looked like it was wide open. I am definitly not going into work tomorrow but calling my doctor and telling him it's still bleeding and it's open

i plan on calling my doctor first thing

Katers - if the wound looks like it is wide open, you need to call your doctor now and tell him, the stitches may have burst and you may need to have it reclosed, the longer you wait, the harder it is to deal with. Call his clinic, someone should be on-call for him and talk to them. I don't know how big an incision it was, if there were stitches or what, but tell them it is still bleeding, etc. If it is normal, they will tell you, but I don't think you should still be bleeding at this point. Better to make the call and be sure. Take care.
