I don't like taking pictures of myself. They seem fake and pretentious to me. The pictures others take of me capture who I really am. Because those are taken during real life moments. Not at a point where I am consciously taking my own photo to demonstrate something of myself. I generally will only take my own picture if I am dressed up or in a way I like when there is no one else available. But still, I find it very hard to take my own photo where it looks real and good. Why do you think it's pretentious? Do you think other people are pretentious for taking their own pictures? Hmmm, good question. For myself, I don't like talking about myself. Sounds like I'm bragging. Same applies to taking my own picture. As far as others, no I don't think they are. It is just my self-talk. ![]() |
