So I am watching Anderson Cooper,(my cnn BOYFRIEND-oh i wish) and he is saying that they have extended their deadline in order to keep the govt open, and have yet to reach a deal...but repubs have offered a deal, and now tea party's are having a hissy fit...

A short term deal to strengthen later. There shouldnt really be funding for abortions, parents should be paying for the promiscuous behavior of their teens, as they are held responsible for their teens that end up in juvenile hall, parents are billed and requireed to pay for that, why not abortions, or let them pay for the costs to raise their children....so lame

huh... the children don't even have to tell their parents that they are getting an abortion, but they want the parents to pay for it? makes some great sense there...

That is a valid point which I disagree with 100 percent, parents should be notified in the first place and placed with the financial end as well. I am not in agreement that the children should not have to be disclosed to their parents. This is teaching our kids to sneak behind our backs, Which clearly if they are pregnant they are already doing, but to not be held responsible for their actions as well....

Why not mold criminals, what if they also contract aids or chlymydia or something else serious, I highly doubt the govt would carry out the lifelong meds they will need when they contract aids, because the kids thought why bother talking to mom and dad, when I can get off scott free....what else might they do and think they will not be held accountable for their actions...stealing cars, that seems to be a big deal when they get caught...no-one seems to hide that, or selling drugs at school...sweep those under the rug then too!----because they are afraid their parents might discipline them?

i'm not real sure what the reasoning behind it is, but your right, it is a worthless idea. some people just want to pass laws without thinking anything through. you stated that very well, and i could not agree with you more. teach them early to not have any responsibility, and it will stay with them the rest of their lives... Then they want to blame the parents, saying it is the parents fault..

Had the government shut down, congress would have had to vote on whether government workers would get back pay. It wouldn't automatically happen.

Yes, some of these girls are as young as 14 years old...I mean its definitely the parents business. There are so many crimes being committed by our youth, juvenile hall hits the parents with the bill(according to a friend)Her daughter joined a gang at a young age and was prostituting, she begged for help and when she did, they told her to pay for juvie, pay for group home, pay for counseling. So why not planned parenthood.

I understood they made an argument of certain girls of ethnic background were not able to return home, I think it was muslim or indian or something where there was violence used against the child upon finding out...if that is the case then those kids need to report them to CPS. So now we are funding, teaching ill moral practices to our kids for a minority case, and I dont mean the ethnicity, i mean some things that are isolated incidents and bills are made over them, when they are actually dealing in regards to non-citizens in the first place. If they are citizens of ethnic background and their children are killed or severely injured than they may be punished just as a non-ethnic citizen of our country would be....if they want to practice rituals which were only tolerated in their country then they should live their or conform to our rules..

true, but do you think they would vote no? lol... like when the congress wanted a raise, they slid a like 59% pay raise behind some other bills, and when they got busted with it, they were all saying "i was voting no on it"... hahaha (this happened back in the 80's or 90's, nothing recent)

i have heard of a few cases where the muslim fathers had killed their daughters for becoming "too Americanized"... in Dallas, one threw his wife off a bridge into the traffic below for not following their faith. i'm sure there are other instances where it has happened in other religions too, but none of that is an excuse for this. i'm not sure why whoever motioned or passed this law did it, but i don't think it follows the family values that bush was trying to set up...

That didn't sound right, so I looked that up The budget is proposed by the President. Then the Congress votes on it. Of course, both sides in both houses have to wrangle over what kinds of adjustments they want made.

This is all a smoke screen for the real heart of the issue, Congressional mismanagement of finance (On BOTH sides of the fence right and left wing!), a blatant lack of responsibility for us or our future in BOTH houses, Corruption SO effing deep that when uncovered might cause Americans to become so outraged that there could just be a period of Anarchy over it, and worst of all this $39 Billion Budget cut is a load of Horse crap. The Deficit is $7+ Trillion and a $39 Billion cut is only 5.5% of that Deficit and the deficit has been growing exponentially since.

Now who is at the VERY CORE OF THIS PROBLEM??? The Federal Treasury! In Reality BANKERS and the BANKING INDUSTRY! Who do you think the Federal Treasury is? It is the banking Industry. Not America's Congress who controls it! These are the very same (DONKEY)holes who used the media to convince everyone that we could live better lives with credit. What they never mentioned was the realities of having a debt burden and the costs of it to the consumer later on. Once Deregulation eliminated their restrictions is when all this toxic lending began to really get out of control. Banks all force us to abide by their rules but they make it so they can change the terms of anything as they see fit! They can make a free checking account you had for years suddenly become a pay service and they will take money from you as a penalty if you try to move your money to another bank. They can charge you outrageous fees and penalties for the privilege of keeping your money there but if they screw up or are late they act like they owe us nothing. this is a clear case of Industry invading our government.

Worst is Career Politicians. They DO NOT THINK IN TERMS OF WHAT IS GOOD FOR ALL OF US. JUST WHAT WILL KEEP THEM IN A JOB!

Our social spending policies need massive reforms. On top of that our "LAWMAKERS" (COUGH GAG WHEEZE!) need to get a handle on the cost of Energy, and health care. Not sell us out for Corporations to make HORRENDOUSLY HUGE profits off of us. I agree they deserve to make some money but how much is enough? 6) Managing government accounts and the United States public debt
7) Supervising national banks and thrift institutions;
8) Advising on domestic and international financial, monetary, economic, trade and tax policy – fiscal policy being the sum of these, and the ultimate responsibility of Congress.
9)Enforcing Federal finance and tax laws
10)Investigating and prosecuting tax evaders

Under the authority of the Federal Reserve act, the FED expands and contract credit, engages in exchanges with foreign central banks, and other things in its charter. The FED is also the prime culprit in the corruption of the financial system and debasement of the currency.

Au Contraire, the Federal Treasury is a hoax! First of all it is not Government but Para-government. frankly in all reality it was the first real stab of Privatization to happen in government. Now let us look at this in a bent light. The federal treasury is run by men who regulate and oversee the flow of money for the government correct? Not necessarily true! Deregulation is one huge reason! next is who are the men running the Federal Reserve? Every last one of them have ties to banks in some way shape or form either being direct operators of banks or being associated with banking and lending in some capacity. These men are in the business of making money and they profit from our government. One way is that our government prints money and we give it to the Federal Reserve who lends it back to us. There is one leak in our economy right there!

The Federal Reserve also writes tax code, has their fingers directly in the IRS, was voted in by only THREE CONGRESSMEN, and when you gather all the facts about who and what they are it turns out they are a criminal organization under the Aegis of government authority. they have not been regulating squat. All they are doing is seeing to their own fortunes behind desks of Government office they did not earn or deserve. The Federal Reserve does not regulate squat. They just manipulate numbers, blow smoke up our backsides, and assure us of protections that do not take into account the possibility of the dollar falling flat on its face.

If I may, what of our currency if it becomes worthless suddenly? Then where is the Fed Reserve for us??? Hiding in Switzerland?
