I've noticed recently that popular media personalities are spreading the myth that the War Powers Act (1973) gives the President the power to initiate a war or invasion without consulting congress. This is a LIE. The WPA did not grant any new powers to the President or the administration.

The ONLY way the president does not need congressional approval to declare war is if we are invaded. Pearl Harbor was an Attack but not an Invasion.

Obama should have gotten congressional approval to get us involved in Libya! He overstepped his authority. But Hillary Clinton is all for this action!

It's hard to keep up with whether you people consider Progressives to be a Socialist or Communist. When it Rome, we try to speak the local language. By the way, in some circles, it is considered to be racist to refer to a black man as "boy". Not to mention that "your boy" is a misnomer. The only reason that there is no serious move to mount a primary challenge is that nobody on the left wants to risk having any of your radical right clowns taking the 2012 election. Everyone tosses progressive around like it is some kind of Buzz Word. You cannot be a Progressive and a Socialist or a Communist! Communism and Socialism do not allow for change or adaptation.

By definition Progressive is associated with LEFT WING politics! It was only recently that Democrats have taken the term to cover their lack of progressive thinking. They THINK Socialist Policies is Progress. In all reality the term has been bastardized badly like the word Gay. Before the 1970s to be Gay meant one was happy. After the 1970s it meant you were associating yourself with Homosexuality.

Progressive is about making Progress. Trying to be "with the times." it is supposed to be about Innovation and the Democratic Party has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt they cannot achieve any progress. The National Debt is a sure fire indicator of that! I do not myself consider anyone to really be progressive if they stand so vehemently on Party lines.

I have heard what a lot of "Self Appointed" progressives say. it is the same thing the Democratic Party says. it is all BS and all of is is parroted from someone else. Not one of these So Called progressives has come up with anything innovative or new. So far everything they have said is the exact same thing they said back in 1938 while our economy was floundering horribly.

Pray to god I never make president. I would declare a State of Emergency right out the gate and in 30 days would declare Martial Law if Congress didn't show me they were serious about dealing with our National Debt! In 30 days if I did have to do that I would suspend Congresses' powers and force them to myopically deal with the issue of our budget. All I can say is I would make it my mission to put a leash on the DNC and if I could provide proof they were indeed acting to usurp the constitution I would make it my crusade to obliterate the Democratic party and party politics all down the line! Oh, and any Representative offering Amnesty to Illegal Aliens would be arrested, polygraphed, put before a military trial, and tossed so deep in Leavenworth they would be buried in Secrecy for the next 50 years FOR BREAKING OUR LAW UNDER THE COLOR OF AUTHORITY!!! That should make getting America back on track MUCH asier when Congress realizes I am not playing games with them. If they choose to break our laws I will come down on them if I had Presidential Authority and had the ability to justify declaring a State Of Emergency. Trillions of Dollars in Debt IS a National Emergency.

You should be careful of whom you choose to oppress with belief becasue those you oppress today may come back to bite you in the azz later on. I owe Congress for Affirmative Action! Oh BOY do I owe them!

Artlo, you are a waste of time. On top of that you are intentionally baiting me. First of all Communism was declared illegal in the early 1960s just after the McCarthy era. This went all the way to the supreme court. It was covered in my history class in college when we covered the Cold War. Although you have a right to be a Communist under the freedom of though granted by the Constitution it however was declared an illegal form of GOVERNMENT and never to be allowed or employed in America.
