Feeling very frustrated. Trying to get a garage built and everytime I turn around; I am finding more problems to deal with. Not to mention; getting tired of contractors talking down to me because I am a woman. Really feel like kicking some contractor *** but instead I will work on my kickboxing as it will keep me out of jail.

Feeling very frustrated. Trying to get a garage built and everytime I turn around; I am finding more problems to deal with. Not to mention; getting tired of contractors talking down to me because I am a woman. Humm best way to fix that is let the contractor know you know what your talking about and put them in their place. I worked for a construction company for 12 years and girl through those years I picked up on a lot. One thing in life that just goes all over me is for someone to talk down to me like I have no clue... Hahah I tend to put them in their place and make damn sure there are others around then turn and walk away just smiling.......

I did exactly that; did my homework so I knew what I was talking about and I ended up throwing a guy off my property. It doesn't change how men talk to women here in Red neck country. |

ask a man friend to come over and speak to the contractor for you I thought of that too but my men friends haven't got a clue about this stuff. Most don't even know how to operate a power tool and usually call me for help with renos. |
