Good question. Shiki is a huge fan of classic Star Trek. He saw the episode where Kirk, Spock, and Bones were transported to a parallel dimension, and the Spock there had a goatee. He thought it would make for a great look, and so he wore it. Many Shikettes like the look, and some don't. Some Shikettes feels it is ticklish and others have a different reaction.

Me thinks someone here is tooting their horn.

Yea. True. But....I just like playin' Perry Mason. We were given a task to find out who Shiki is. Hmmmm. He's not who I initially thought. But then again.....if he were a newbie....as he now claims.....then why would we be asked to guess who he is?????

Isn't Beantown 200 miles away? When I lived up there, it was. How does Shiki get these e-mail messages? Who knows.

As bastet126 says, I think if a person on mingle asks to be friends with you, and you say yes, then they can send e-mail messages.

I simply respond to the masses. It's who I am. It's what I do.

Can Shiki help it if people e-mail him? No. I am a sweet little butterfly, and if Shikettes want to tear my clothes off and have at me, who am I to say no?

But, Dict, methinks you are a bit jealous, and there is no need to be. You can be a Shik-meister yourself. It is the way of Shiki.

Dict, and after I did say nice things about your town. I wrote that previous post because many people were asking me who I was. I wrote it as a goof. That is all.

Like being with a Shikette, Shiki is deep when he has to be, and other times, he just likes to scratch the surface.

But, you do have me curious. If I'm getting this many e-mails with restrictions, what if I remove them? Hmmmm?

UPDATE - I just removed this "distance" restriction and I am now getting e-mails from Australia. Thanks, Dict for helping to make Shiki a global sensation.

No problem. This would make for a great e-mail question. Should Shiki go global? Would Shiki's ways work in the land Down Under? I bet the Outback Steakhouses are really good there.
