I want to take Salsa lessons and ballroom dancing just for the heck of it..

Do it! Salsa lessons are a lot of fun. I'm taking one tomorrow night.

I read that.. Very cool.. I just googled it and found something right in my town... I'm going to check it out.. It's only $15 per class...

It's more fun in a class with a bunch of people. And you learn more, I think.

I just sent an email for private classes.. I'll see how much they are, that way I don't have to embarrass myself in front of other people... So, I went to a class tonight. It was a group lesson. I think those are good, as you learn a bit more from dancing with several different people. If you try the private lesson and like it, definitely try a group lesson. |

I have 2 left feet as well Mezah...
That's what I was thinking Emily.. They sent me an email today telling me that the first private lesson is free but they didn't say how much the lessons were.. If it's a huge difference then may do the group thing or maybe a few private and then go into the group... I'm far from being the most rhythmic person in the world...

Basic salsa steps are pretty easy and once you get those down, you'll do fine. I'm happy you're going to try it out!

 I've always wanted to, just never had time.. I still don't have much time but going to see what I can do.. Besides, those that keep in motion stay in motion... LOL

Yeah, I just go when I have time. But, I realized I enjoyed it quite a bit, so I tend to make the time now.

My "maybe" instructor 'Esteban' said it takes dedication.. My first thought was "oh crap".... I kind of like his name though...

I'd like to learn swing dancing.

I'd love to learn to learn salsa and swing dance I think they'd be great fun and exercise too. But it usually easier to take lessons if you can bring your own partner.
