1968 and the FHA set the stage but back then lending was under tight regulation. Now under the Bush Sr. years CONGRESS set the stage for the disaster we are dealing with right now! Congress was who wanted the banks to make loans people whop could not qualify for would qualify for. But with pesky regulation they could not do the weird loans and get predatory. Then came Bill Slick Willy Clinton. Let us not this Democrat sold us out to deregulation which opened the flood gates to predatory lending. Bush Jr. could not do anything about deregulation. That was a Democratic baby! At least Bush Jr. Did not sell us out to the insurance industry making health care insurance mandatory. That was Obama's baby! HE sold us out through his precious Democratic Party who he was so eager to please.

Sorry but Obama is a huge let down like Congress. Our government is almost completely out of control. We the people have a right to a government that is responsible to the people socially and financially. But you seem to emphasis social responsibility WAY too much! Can't buy a car if you don't got the money!

And that is exactly one of the issues I have with Obama. People defend his stupidity. People can be educated and still be stupid!

Also Liberals seem to be of the mind set that if you do a bad thing enough times it becomes right. Most Liberals who spew this brand of stupidity come off as this...



I have met smart liberals who know money has to come from somewhere. They know that anything they do will have consequences so they meter their ideals against real world forces many liberals here seem to ignore. You take from one person and give to another someone looses! Keep taking and it grows until everyone is loosing!

And worst is when they have proof and tangible and logical reasons why their ideals fail they get all pissed off and either throw tantrums, toss covert insults, or keep repeating their ideals are right in the hopes they can manifest their ideals by repetition.

He is not SOLELY responsible but these are goals he took on being a part of which came to be,,,

he didn't have anything to with dadt, that was courts...ending the war is iraq, again, nothing.... national health plan?i'm not sure what he did, but his name keeps coming up...and it will mean nothing when it gets shot down... he did extend the national dept trillions of dollars, and he did break every pre-election promise.... so he did accomplish a couple of things

you questioned what 'battles' he has won, I gave them to ya with a DISCLAIMER even that he isnt SOLELY responsible,, but yet the point is lost and he continues to be to BLAME for everything not going well, and given NO credit for those things that are going as he had hoped and campaigned

and we could honestly end the debate between most of us with 'Im not sure what he did (or didnt) do

Id like to add that I was not even in SUPPORT of repealing DADT,, but he was and it came to be,,,,

you said these battles he has won, i cannot give him credit for "ending" the the war in iraq or dadt... the rest are iffy, but i'll give him credit for those...

The only battle Obama ever won was the fight he put up hanging curtains in the white house!

He gets us to pull out of Iraq and right into Libya!
