they could very well be a foreigner. a lot of other countries can not get used to the fact that we present water pressure in america..
That reminds me of something really interesting. I some middle-eat culture, I've heard, they don't use TP. They use their hands and then wash their hands.

but that doesn't explain the used charmin on the floor, would it...

Back in the seventies I worked in an automotive factory. The janitor put paper boxes in each stall, and those who were too ridden with compleces to throw the paper in the can, nicely smoothed out each paper, and neatly placed it in the box.

No, but seriously, they put the spent tissues in the box.

This is where the expression "Think outside the box" came from.

I actually came across that a lot when I worked with special needs kids..I asked a neuro development specialist about it..it has to do with sensory..they can't process smell information and to them they think its playdough
Its disgusting but all that can be done is to clean up the mess and the child until they are mentally mature enough to understand and if they reach that stage at all

Miss Sandpaper!!

My grade two teacher!!!!

How ARE you? So good to see you again.

Oh, you will be happy to hear: I've lived up to my full potential, after all! I haven't amounted to anything. I think I would have done much worse without your encouragement.

Nobody seems to have an answer for this. I really want to know. It's about public bathrooms.

Why would somebody wipe their rear end with toilet paper, then throw the ****-covered toilet paper on the floor instead of flushing it down the toilet? Part of my little Park host job is to keep the johns stocked, and I see a lot of this.

no excuses - non, nada, nichts, null

Mexicans aren't IN mexico - flush it dammit

I used to work in a school where the ADULT students in the ladies room had some less than sanitary habits but discretion has the better of me this evening... so I say no more

Could have been part of an organized student action to protest the underfunding of schools? I mean, what teacher would WILLINGLY hold classes in the ladies' room? Not a lady, that's for sure, unless there was absolutely no space elsewhere in the school.

i know that mexicans don't flush toilet paper, they throw it in the trash... never found out why...

Two reasons I know of.
1. In their homes, most have septic systems.
2. They use 2" black plastic to run toilet wastewater and paper would clog it up easy.

Wanna' stop the sheite paper from hitting the floor? Put a trash can in there next to the seat.

Oh, and learn Spanish.laugh smokin

There could be many of different reasons to why this happens but a couple of solutions to the problem
1. Put a trash can near by
2. Put a not on inside of door in different languages stateing that it's ok to flush the stuff.
Never know, it might help. :)

EEEeeeeekkkk, is this the same culture that eats with their hands???
On further Googling, I found that there is quite a bit of material on this on the web.Cultures in places where paper is hard to come by do use their hands, along with water and are able to get their rear ends actually cleaner than they would with paper. they have a rather elaborate set of rules about which hand they use, and how they use their hands in their daily lives to avoid unhealthy contamination. Kind of an interesting topic.

These cultures often consider people who merely wipe with paper to be quite filthy, unsanitary and barbaric.

In fact, if you think about it, bidets, along with good handwashing facilities would really be the way to go.Get really clean and save a lot of trees.

If only there were hand washing monitors to ensure these people are using the right hands and actually washing them...

I guess I can explain that. When my world fell apart and my wife threw me out, I needed a place to live. It was a happy coincidence that I new about the park host programs in the state parks. You do a little bit of easy work in return for a free RV space and all the electricity you can use. I've met a number of park hosts who have sold their homes and gotten rid of all their stuff and do this year around, seeing the world one state park at a time.

I feel relieved to know now that China is not the only place they do this. They call them "WC" which is short for washing closet. But instead of floor, they put it in the trash can. I have never used a public WC at any time I've been here, but its the kids at school who tend to use trashcan instead of flushing it. This cluture is in despert need of health education.
