Do you still have fun finding and meeting new people or is it getting old?

Dating never was fun for me. It's just something that you have to do in order to get through to a real relationship.

So you don't get a rush learning all about them and their life? And seeing if there is a spark?

I LOVE meeting new people. I think you can rediscover things about yourself, when you are finding out about others.
Dating? Since I became single again, I really haven't been on any actual dates. |

Hummm it would probable be a lot of fun if I had someone to date.....
 not to much into the random dates here and there much more easier to just hit it alone instead....
As far as meeting new people I would rather just meet them as friends instead..... |

i don't date. i let people who are on their way to a conference in another city stay at my house for a few... oh wait, i was living someone else's life for a minute there

So you don't get a rush learning all about them and their life? And seeing if there is a spark? No. I don't think you do learn all about them when you are dating. The biographical data is the least interesting stuff about a person. How they function in a relationship is what I'm after. You don't learn that until you're actually in the relationship. If there is a spark, the biographical data is just the details. Without the spark all you are doing is digging away at eachothers' masks.

I hardly go on dates, so I find it exciting to go out. It makes me feel good that a guy would like to take me out.

I'm one of those people who have "a problem with authority". This seems like a special kind of problem. Surely there are many men who are comfortable in that kind of environment. I don't know what to tell you.
