I am fully and thoroughly RODEO'D!
It started with the World Champion BBQ Cook-off, which our own Metalwing generously got me into for three fun days of partying (did he previously mention the amazing and award winning BBQ?) followed by 20 great days of concerts (I saw 15) plus many nights of rodeo events (which ones I saw depended on what time I showed up.) I met nice people, met up with nice people I already knew and generally... FELT LIKE A TEXAN! Now it's time for a little 11 month rest, huh? Bluebonnet watching... Summer sweating... Mingling with buddies here... Yeah, Texas rocks! |

Funny thing is that when my relatively cynical son visited last week, he suggested that there's a kind of narcissistic vacuum that draws EVERYONE in while they are here, cuz he was feelin' it too!
