You know, if I could have found a man who would actually provide for me, I mean, a man with a decent job, I would love to have stayed home and play Susie homemaker.

Unfortunately, there are a larger percent of men, who are lazy, and who are looking for a mother figure to take care of him and go to bed with him and also one who will work and put food on the table and do both the "man" things and the "woman" things.

Many of you make some pretty good points. We will agree to disagree. The sexy red-headed mama makes a great point when she says that many men are lazy and do not want to provide for their woman.

If you are expecting your woman to bring home the bacon, then it is YOUR job, man, to fry it up in the pan. However, that is not how things are supposed to be. In fact, women who have men who are not interested in getting a J-O-B are simply looked down upon. If you are trying (really trying) to get a job, men, that is one thing. However, if you are a lazy good for nothing, ladies, you should kick this bum to the curb.

A good relationship is simply an agreement or partnership that works. There are no rules about what a man should do as apposed to what a woman should do. Traditionally those rules or ideas came about in general because men were better equipped to plow the field and women were better equipped to cook the food, but it was not because the women was a woman or the man was a man that these things evolved.

Therefore, you can't call it a hard and fast rule that a person should do or not do anything just because of their gender. That is just being uninformed or ignorant.

You completely misread what I posted. As a man, I know how to cook and clean. However, it is the woman's role to do this. And there are women I dated who make a good living. However, it is the man's role to provide.

Well I didn't go to college for 10 yrs to sit around the house cooking & cleaning so if a man "expects" this because he is too lazy to take care of his own basic needs, I surely hope the door doesn't hit him where the sun doesn't shine on his way out!!!
