That our Government allows and ACTS like its SAFE TO USE,,,or with allowing a very small disclaimer on its product,,,saying IT MIGHT BE DANGERIOUS....When they HAVE PROOF IT "IS",,a problem,,and ITS OUR PROBLEM ALSO,,because look at how many are suffering in our elderly Communities,,and Nursing Homes,,,,on OXYGEN TANKS...
THIS issue is ALL ABOUT CONTROL, PROFIT, and PRETENDING THEY DON'T KNOW ITS TRUTH....and what I'm saying is,,,,,
IF,,,,HALF OF AMERICANS WHO HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY THEM NOW,
COULD NOT OF BEEN EXPOSED TO THEM WITH THE GOVERNMENTS CONSENT OF BEING "OK" TO USE,,,,THEY ALL WOULD NOT BE SUFFERING THEIR ISSUES WITH THEM....BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT HAVE HAD THEM IN EVERY STORE AND GAS STATION AND EVERYONE DOING THEM LIKE IT WAS NORMAL TO DO..
THEY WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN THEM(TOBACCO) EXCEPT THROUGH OBTAINING IT LIKE THEY DO NOW FOR ALL ILLEGAL DRUGS ON THE STREETS.

That's one thing I agree with you on, dragoness. The repubs (especially the high ranking ones) are mostly bought and paid for by corporate special interests (though the same could be said about the dems).

The dems don't seem to be as crazy as the Repubs. They are getting crazier by the day. I don't stand with one party but I do watch for the bad ones. GOP is so destructive to this country.

If you read the offical democratic party platform, it's basically a rehash of neocon republican tripe. Both are especially destructive to the poor and middle classes. Rank and file dems (who correctly oppose corporate fascism and the war party) like yourself are routinely betrayed by the elite establishment dems.

Dems who are like me? Is that what you meant? I am unaffiliated on my ballot. I am betrayed by my government more from Repubs than from Dems. As is all of the country.

Ah, my mistake. I apologize for assuming about your affiliation. Independents are cool. It's true that the Repubs are worse than the dems, but not by much. (see the link above to the party platform) They are both lobbied by and effectively owned by the same people: the big corporations, foreign lobbies (especially the Israel lobby), and so on. I like the dems much better when they're out of power because they're more consistent and have better ethos and logos.
