I'll offer my opinion. I hope it won't seem cold.

I have no problem with any living creature becoming dead. I abhor suffering, either for the victim or for those left behind. As a non-believer, I do not believe that life is sacred. As for pets. I learned a lot when I had to put down my first life long pet. I cried like a baby. It was only later that I realized that I had kept her alive much longer than I should have and that I did so for my sake, not for her's. It was selfish. We raise some meat animals on our farm, so I have killed animals. It doesn't have to be slow, painful or scary for the animal. Nevertheless, I didn't like it, and I really don't want to do it any more.

For me, it is no more complicated than that.

Jeanniebean, who is quite attractive, states:

"Who says so?"
I say so. [you asked]

"You have no way of knowing that no other book is spiritually inspired."

You have no way of knowing they are NOT spiritually inspired. So, we are at an impasse here.

No we are not.
I never made the statement that any book is not inspired.
Every single book in existence may well be inspired.
I have no way of knowing, therefore I have not made that statement.

When you make a statement as fact, it is your burden to prove, or else confess that it is your opinion.

People were killed, and that is a sad part of our Christian history. It is truthful, but sad, nonetheless.

There are a lot of sad and horrible facts about the history of the Christian religion. How can anything good come out of something so corrupt? I don't think it has changed much. People are still being killed over religions.

It's actually quite ironic though for anyone to kill in God's name using Christianity. For it is straight up against God's will to do as such. These people's actions were not even semi justified in anyway at all. Christianity is about peace, love, caring, and compassion. There is nothing "evil" about it.

I would greatly appreciate some input here from all Religions..
For me what I have been taught is it is up to God to judge when it is time to go..
now If you arent Christian I would also like your point of view on this as well..
I do admit I have knowingly killed bees before and spiders however they are not pets.. I do not know if this makes it right.
ohh and wild mice as well..
my question what about your pet? what are your views on this? and under what circumstances would it be if you put your pet to sleep?.. I try not to sin.. im not perfect though.. and i guess this is an important issue to me.. and at this point i am so confused!! please help? input please? thank you so much!!

according to religious belief...you have dominion over animals ...you can do as you choose with them as long as it's done righteously
