So I just got offered a new Loss Prevention position yesterday. I start Monday. It's more dangerous then I am used to since a couple of the Grocery Stores are in the worst parts of town and the company I am going to be working for is a full hands on company.

Congrats to you!!! Having a job is nice and a blessing!!!! Thanks! It really is, especially in a field that I am trained to be in and a job I love. I will never take it for granted again.

congrats Lp, be careful.. Thanks, I plan on it. I have a vest ordered and I have all the other stuff I need(Stab resistant gloves, handcuffs, Taser, ASP Baton, Pepper Spray etc.) since i've done this for years.

be safe brother, them bad parts aint no joke.... Over the years I have been jumped, stabbed(The only thing that saved my a$$ was a vest), almost ran over, hit with a bottle, hit with a purse loaded with merchandise, sprayed with pepper spray and even had a gun pulled on me.

You should avoid shopping at Toys r Us on Christmas eve. kidding. congrats! I avoid Toy's R' Us all the time. Usually the ones who put up a huge fights are the ones pushing a shipping cart with over $1000 in merchandise out the front door. Those guys have balls. Pushouts happen everyday at every store. It may not always be liquor but its always atleast several hundred dollars.
