I would love to hear anyones thoughts on this subject. I saw the movie and read the book and I am a believer.

I strongly believe in this. Long before I read this book, I have several experiences which can attest that the law of attraction is indeed working. Mind is a very powerful tool for this.

I use it on a daily basis and it's become a way of life. I like being happy just because.

True. Happy thoughts begets happiness... A very good metaphysics.

I'm a believer. I love Ester and Jerry Hicks books. I didn't really like the movie "The Secret." It glossed over it too much.

This week I've been using it to get some extra money. My income this week has tripled. I work for myself and do process service and sell tarot cards and my art via the Internet.

lol.... a load of crap, believe in yourself - not a book, movie or method... you will be happier in life and more sucessful in your relationships...

The money thing is pretty cool...the health part, too.

The method involves intention and taking action. Visualization IS necessary.

Its how we get things done.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. You probably use the technique and don't even realize it. That is how you created your life as it is today. If you want to know what you believe, look at your life and your surroundings. It is of your own making. That is what is called taking responsibility.

I enjoyed the secret...is not really new though. There is quite a bit of $$$$ still tied up over that movie and those in it. I do love Jerry & Ester.
We all create our realities and humanity (all of us) create our world...are world is a reflection of us. As a Shamanis we believe we dream our world into being.
James Arthur Ray is going on trial this month for manslaughter from the sweat lodge inncident in AZ.
Some of the 'helpful' people in that movie got carried away and greedy..see where it has gotten him, sad, I like him.

My technique for getting money:

I decide on the amount I want, and it has to be an amount I can actually believe I could acquire or generate.

I don't truly believe I could win the lottery, so I don't go that route.

Then I promise or intend that any opportunity to earn or make money that comes up should not be turned away... unless of course it is wrong or illegal. (Like someone asking me to rob a bank with them.)

Then I also imagine what I can do to earn the money and I actively begin to work on one of those projects. Example: Paint a picture and sell it, advertise my products, plan to have a garage sale, put something on Ebay for sale etc.

You don't just sit on your duff and wait for money to appear. If you do, you will end up saying... "this law of attraction does not work, it is crap, I've tried it, it doesn't work."

You aren't doing it right.

BUT sometimes during this process money does appear. Sometimes it appears from a completely different source than what you are working on.

It is not that you "attracted" it. It is something that was always there, you just did not notice it.

It is like when you buy a certain car, then suddenly you notice how many other cars just like yours are on the street. Your mind has been keyed to "look" or "see" it. Your eyes and attention is drawn to it.

Attraction is relative. It is not that things are drawn to you, or you are drawn to them. If you move around and start doing things and going places you are more likely to find or notice what you are looking for. If you lock yourself in your room, your chances are not as good.

The way the system works is that it alerts your subconscious mind to look for it. When it finds it, your mind will notify you. "There it is!!" You can take it or leave it at that point.

It really works! I've done it many times.
