Happy Pre-Birthday!!!
Ray..the South Plains are 150 miles from here..it's where my boys live..My grandson..or one of them, is in a Dinner Theater Production Monday night. So I'm going to go see him perform. 
The party is the following weekend...so I'll be home Tuesday, just in time for my guests to arrive. |

Ray..the South Plains are 150 miles from here..it's where my boys live..My grandson..or one of them, is in a Dinner Theater Production Monday night. So I'm going to go see him perform.

In the space of 90 minutes, the temps here have dropped from 80 to 60 with the arrival of a "Southerly" change. Overnight low is forecast to go down to around 40 with some rain in the air. Great stuff, I need to check my new window for leaks

As above Tim, it's been very warm and so this morning I fitted up a new window to increase ventilation * light. Apart from any possible leaks, it's all good so far

Snow here is a rare occurence, the last lot I recall was about 1995 or thereabouts. There was around6-8 inches, was cold & totally unlovable. |

Not a replacement window Tim, ya just walk through the wall with a "Skillsaw", form a modest hole (5x2 feet) and slap a window in the gap in the wall
